WordPress is arguably the best blog software available today, mainly because:

• WordPress is open source - which means it is free to use (even commercially)
  
  
• Wordpress is a very soundly written piece of web application with very flexible features - which means you can easily extend it and customize it to your site's specific needs.
  
  
• WordPress is extensible - which means a lot of third-party "plugins" are available that can extend what WordPress cannot do out of the box, and there are "themes" that can change the look-and-feel of your blog.
  
  
• WordPress, because it is extensible, developer-friendly and well written, has attracted a huge community of developers, who are constantly developing new themes and plugins.

But even WordPress is not invincible. It does not have some core features - like say, a Contact-Us Form, that lets your blog readers to contact you by email from a form on your site.

So, the primary objective of this site is to start creating WordPress Plugins that will add to - and extend - your existing WordPress blog.
